The Journey Church exists to help people live adventurously expectant as they take their next step with God. Inspired by Romans 8:15 MSG, we believe the Christian life is not about standing still, but about following the Spirit with the confidence of sons and daughters who know they are loved by their Father.

Meet Our Pastors
Brandon and Whitney Tanksley are the lead pastors of The Journey Church. A church built on the belief that life with God is a journey meant to be lived adventurously expectant.
Brandon currently serves as a Chaplain with Crown Hospice, walking closely with individuals and families through some of life's most meaningful and difficult moments. Whitney is a 4th grade teacher at South Elementary in Jackson, where she pours into the next generation on a daily basis. Together, they are raising three kids, Camdon, Tucker, and Aubrey, who keep them busy and deeply connected to the Jackson community.
